Named after Ritte's long solo breakaway in the 1919 Tour of Flanders, our 1919TT is the perfect compantion during those lonely time trial or triathlon kilometers. First of all, the 1919 just looks fantastic, giving you those extra psychological watts. But the 1919's virtues go much deeper than to simply make you look exceedingly cool. 

The geometry of the frame is very aggressive for a time trial bike, with a steeper head tube that's much closer to that of a road racing frame. Combined with its very short chainstays, the geometry gives you a quick, responsive feel that's light and nimble when standing on a climb or accelerating after a turnaround. Despite conventional wisdom, this doesn't diminish the stability of the bike at all, but rather gives you more control. 

Aerodynamically, 80% or more of your wind drag is coming from your body position, and the 1919 addresses this with a highly adjustable seat clamp that can slide anywhere from 73 to 79 degrees. So you won't be stuck with one of two positions that aren't quite right. The recessed head tube helps those with the flexilbilty get as low as possible. And, of course, the frame itself is exceptionally hidden from the wind, featuring an aero front brake and a rear brake that's tucked under the bottom bracket.

The 1919's cable routing itself is an advance in conventional thinking, since it uses a single run of housing all the way through the frame to ease routing and reduce friction and flex in the shifting and braking system. This gives you perfect, crisp shifting, especially between the chainrings... a common issue on many time trial frames.

But all the aerodynamic goodies in the world won't help much if your frame is too flexible, so we use extremely stiff high-modulus carbon fiber throughout the frame laid out to our demanding specifications.
